Titanic The Musical is based on the story of the RMS Titanic which sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912. The musical opened on Broadway in April 1997 and won five Tony Awards, including best musical. Based on real people aboard the most legendary ship in the world, Titanic the musical is a stunning and stirring production focusing on the hopes, dreams and aspirations of her passengers who each boarded the ship with their own stories and personal ambitions.
